Searchly vs SE Visible
Searchly tracks buyer prompts with full answers and citations, then adds what SE Visible does not document. Its $99 Starter plan shows AI crawler logs, GA4 AI visits and Search Console for each page, with ranked next steps, the Agent and AI shopping.
Our verdict
Our pick: Searchly
Searchly is the better choice for most teams: it puts your own site data and a ranked list of what to fix next beside full answers and citations. At $99 a month (SE Visible Basic is $99), Searchly Starter includes AI crawler logs, GA4 AI visits, Search Console, Opportunities, the Agent and AI shopping for ChatGPT, none of which SE Visible documents. Starter also includes Perplexity, the REST API and the MCP server; SE Visible's own pages disagree on whether it tracks Perplexity and name no plan for its API.
| Searchly | SE Visible | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | $99 a month (Starter) | $99 a month (Basic) |
| 50 prompts, 3 engines, daily | $99 a month | $99 a month |
| Engines on the entry plan | ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity | ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews; Perplexity disputed |

strengths
Where Searchly comes out ahead.
From each company's own pricing pages and documentation, checked Oct 21, 2026. Each point links to its source.
Where Searchly is stronger
- AI crawler logs once you connect a log source, plus GA4 AI referral visits and Search Console clicks for each page, on every plan. SE Visible's public pages do not document any of them, and no other platform in our comparison documents all three on its entry plan. Source
- Opportunities on every plan: a ranked list of next steps tied to the evidence, from setup and on-page fixes to sites worth pitching, with the outreach drafted for you to send. SE Visible's public pages do not document recommendations as a shipped feature; its February 2026 plans post listed them as a roadmap item and says the tool will not find contacts or run PR for you. Source
- The Agent on every paid plan: ask about your AI visibility in plain language and it reads your Searchly data, opens the right page and proposes new prompts or competitors for you to confirm. SE Visible's public pages do not document an agent. Source
- AI shopping on every plan, Starter included: the products ChatGPT shows for your prompts, whose they are and where they rank, with each product's price, rating and retailer. SE Visible's public pages do not document shopping tracking. Source
- Buyer prompts suggested from your site and topics on every plan, Starter included, tracked only after you accept them. SE Visible's public pages do not document prompt suggestions and label query fan-out analysis as coming soon. Source
Where SE Visible focuses
- One pool of 200 prompts on Basic ($99 a month), shared by its 3 projects, so every brand you add draws on the same 200. Source
- Gemini and Google AI Mode on the entry plan beside ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews. Its pricing page also lists Perplexity, but its API reference and FAQ leave it out. Source

One brand, 50 buyer prompts on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity, checked once a day in one country: a common base for AI visibility tracking. Every Searchly plan includes all three engines; where SE Visible counts or includes engines differently, the note says so.

fit
Which one to choose.
Choose Searchly if…
you want your own site data beside the answers for each page and a ranked list of what to fix next, with the Agent and AI shopping included from the first plan.
SE Visible may suit you if…
you mainly need one prompt pool shared across several brands or client projects and handle site data and next steps in other tools.
switching
Moving from SE Visible, or running both.
- Your prompts.SE Visible exports to CSV. Source In Searchly, paste or upload your prompts as CSV. Prompts you add are tracked at once; the ones Searchly suggests wait until you accept them.
- Competitors.Add the competitors you follow in SE Visible. Searchly benchmarks the ones you choose.
- History.Past results stay in SE Visible. Scores are not comparable between tools, because engines, collection methods and formulas differ, so compare trends from the same start date.
- Site data.Connect Google Analytics 4 and Search Console read-only, and send AI crawler logs from Cloudflare, Vercel, Netlify, WordPress, Next.js or the HTTP API by following a setup guide. Searchly installs nothing on your site.
- Run both.Track the same prompts in both tools during the 14-day Pro trial before you decide.
evaluation
Put both tools to the test.
Use your own brand, the same buyer prompts and the same dates in both tools. Ask the other vendor these three questions.
- Does my plan track Perplexity today, and which plan includes API and MCP access?
- Where does the tool show AI crawler requests, AI referral visits and Search Console data for my own pages?
- Once a gap is found, does the tool rank the next steps or offer an agent, or is that left to other tools?
sources

How we compare. We read each company's own pricing page, documentation and changelog, noting the day we checked each one. A capability we could not find is marked Not documented; Not offered means the company's own pages say it is not part of the product. Both columns follow the same rules. We do not compare visibility scores between tools: engines, collection methods and formulas differ.
