Searchly vs Searchable
Searchly tracks 50 prompts on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity for $99 a month on Starter, with the REST API and Search Console included. The same workload costs $125 a month on Searchable's Pro plan; despite the similar names, the two are separate companies.
Our verdict
Our pick: Searchly
Searchly is the better choice for most teams. For 50 prompts on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity, it costs $99 a month against $125 on Searchable Pro. Its Starter plan includes the REST API, which Searchable's pricing table starts on Scale at $400. Starter also puts Search Console data beside the AI answers for each page, with prompt suggestions and Opportunities; Searchable's pages do not say which plan includes them.

Where Searchly is stronger
- 50 prompts on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity for $99 a month on Starter, or $82.50 a month billed yearly. The same workload on Searchable starts on Pro at $125, or $100 a month billed annually. Source
- Search Console beside the AI answers for each page, prompt suggestions and Opportunities (a ranked list of next steps) all come on Starter. Searchable's public pages do not document which plan includes any of them. Source
- The REST API on every plan, with an OpenAPI spec and scoped, expiring keys. Searchable's pages disagree on its API: the API docs say any paid plan can create keys, while the pricing table starts the API on Scale at $400. Source
- AI shopping on every plan, Starter included, with the engine named: the products ChatGPT shows for your prompts, whose they are, their price, rating and retailer and where they rank. Searchable names no engine for its AI shopping data, and its pages disagree on the plan: every plan in its pricing table, Scale and up on one API page. Source
- Claude for $100 a month on Starter. Full Claude costs $200 a month on Searchable Pro, and its $50 Claude Lite runs without web search. Source

One brand, 50 buyer prompts on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity, checked once a day in one country: a common base for AI visibility tracking. Every Searchly plan includes all three engines; where Searchable counts or includes engines differently, the note says so.

fit
Which one to choose.
Choose Searchly if…
you want ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity tracked for 50 prompts at $99 a month, with Search Console, sentiment, Opportunities and the REST API on Starter.
Searchable may suit you if…
a fixed monthly quota of articles and page audits, or an agency plan with white-label reports, matters more to you than Search Console, Opportunities and the REST API on the entry plan.
switching
Moving from Searchable, or running both.
- Your prompts.Searchable downloads your prompts as CSV. Source In Searchly, paste or upload your prompts as CSV. Prompts you add are tracked at once; the ones Searchly suggests wait until you accept them.
- Competitors.Add the competitors you follow in Searchable. Searchly benchmarks the ones you choose.
- History.Past results stay in Searchable. Scores are not comparable between tools, because engines, collection methods and formulas differ, so compare trends from the same start date.
- Site data.Connect Google Analytics 4 and Search Console read-only, and send AI crawler logs from Cloudflare, Vercel, Netlify, WordPress, Next.js or the HTTP API by following a setup guide. Searchly installs nothing on your site.
- Run both.Track the same prompts in both tools during the 14-day Pro trial before you decide.
evaluation
Put both tools to the test.
Use your own brand, the same buyer prompts and the same dates in both tools. Ask the other vendor these three questions.
- Which plan includes the API, Search Console and Opportunities? Your pricing table and API docs disagree on the API.
- How is each answer collected, and are answers from an API fallback labelled and kept out of your scores?
- Which AI engine does your shopping data come from, and which plan includes it?
